Cheshire-based Armitt Leisure Supplies, the UK importer of Portuguese brand AJP, is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Moto Novo, to provide a finance facility for its range of lightweight Trail, Enduro & Supermoto machines. Distributed through its 20-strong and growing dealer network, AJP hope that these new deals will attract yet more interest to the brand.

Moto Novo's recent announcement that it has set aside £25m to stimulate growth in the UK motorcycle market, coincides with AJP's desire to take a bigger slice of the growing Trail & Enduro sector. With the overall motorcycle market continuing to fall by 10% year-on-year, the Trail & Enduro sector has bucked this trend - with a 21.8% increase in registrations YTD, and a 16.7% increase in April alone.

With competitive finance rates from only 1.99% flat now available on AJP's hand-built European bikes for the first time, the small manufacturer from Lousada looks set for success as it celebrates its 26th year in business.
